Information processed
What we may receive
Our hosting and security infrastructure may process information such as IP address, browser or device type, requested page, timestamps and error or security events.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments and any other information you choose to provide.
When you leave this site for a retailer or another service, that third party may receive information under its own privacy and cookie practices.
The current site does not offer user accounts, accept payments, run a newsletter signup or collect information through an on-site form.
Why
How information may be used
- Deliver pages and maintain the reliability and security of the website.
- Diagnose errors, abuse or attempted attacks.
- Respond to questions, corrections, rights requests or business enquiries.
- Keep records needed to protect our rights, comply with law or resolve a dispute.
- Understand affiliate performance after affiliate links are activated, using information supplied by the relevant program.
Cookies and affiliate links
Current site status
Kitchen On Duty does not currently place its own advertising or audience-measurement cookies, and its launch guides do not contain paid affiliate links. Essential hosting or security technologies may still be used to deliver and protect the site.
If affiliate links are activated, clicking one may allow the destination retailer or affiliate network to use cookies or similar identifiers to attribute a purchase. Their processing is governed by their own privacy notices. We will identify affiliate links clearly and update this policy if our own cookie practices materially change.
Sharing
Who may handle information
Information may be handled by service providers that host, secure or support the website and email service. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or rights, investigate misuse, or complete a legitimate business transfer.
We do not sell contact details supplied by email. If that practice ever changes, this notice and any legally required choices will be updated before the change takes effect.
Retention and transfers
How long and where
Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, record-keeping, security or legal purpose. Technical data retention may be controlled by our infrastructure providers and their security requirements.
Because the site is available internationally and uses online service providers, information may be processed outside your state or country, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection rules.
Your choices
Access, correction and deletion requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal data we control, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. To make a request, email us and describe the information and request clearly. We may need reasonable verification before acting.

Security, children and external sites
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a small publication, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Kitchen On Duty is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices; review them before providing information or buying.
